SPECULATION - Moritz Volz

I notice that he's doing a lot of work for ESPN as a pundit. As far as I know he hasn't retired prematurely (?). I think he would make a good signing considering our lack of a natural right back (excluding Cummings), despite how well Tabb's playing.

Re: The Tommy Smith Transfer Failure Thread

Al-Fahim completes his takeover.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 222718.stm

Will he really rubber stamp the Tommy Smith deal, when his mate's signing Tevez, Adebayor etc?

Re: The Tommy Smith Transfer Failure Thread

If the Pompey takeover is complete, why are they wasting their money on a good Championship player, rather than more high profile, proven performers? I'm not even talking about big names in the Premiership, but other talented names across Europe. I mean look at their last Championship signing, Nugen...

Re: Matejovsky Keen to Stay

Matejovsky along with Tabb looks good. Against Burnley at home, the first half Marek was the best player on the pitch. Coppell panicked after the Burnley goal and took off our 3 most likely sources of creativity on the night and killed the game off. Everyone has their own opinion, but i'm the sort o...

Re: Funny Transfers

Sonko is a perfect Pulis player, whereas i think Kitson was a mistake on their part. He's not a targetman centre forward, he's more in the Crouch mould, by which i mean he's an excellent player with the ball at his feet. Stoke probably signed him to fit in alongside the likes of Sidibe and Cresswell...

Re: Marek... a debate

Can't say i agree with much of the stuff which has been said so far in this thread. Give me someone like Marek, who has the potential to be a matchwinner, rather than the mediocre, 'energetic', sideways passing, midfielders that teams at this level seem to possess most of the time.

What about when we were 3-0 up at half time at home to Port Vale and ended up drawing 3-3! That was the play off season as well wasn't it?

Oxford Road all the way :D

Bradford isn't that bad. There used to be no go areas for whites, same with Oldham, Burnley etc but i think the situation has improved. A lot of the Pakistani youth population in those towns was banged up for 7/8 years after the riots!

URZZ Aren't we forgetting Asaba...

Nope.

West_Reading Michael Meaker or Sean Evers.

Also, although he wasn't truly awful, Asaba was a huge waste of 900,000 quid.
