Predictions and Team v. Man Utd.

by AbovetheI » 17 Sep 2006 18:26

I'm going for a 1-0 loss. A close game with the players playing and fighting like heroes in the middle for the first half, and putting on a completely different show in the second half. A Ronaldo goal will shut the boo boys up somewhere around the 60 minute mark, but poor finishing by Saha, Rooney and an eventual Solskjaer substitution will keep the score at 1-0. Seol will hit the bar but that will be Readings only goal threat, despite having 25 corners (22 will be taken short to Harper)

Same team to play as yesterday with a record atendance of 24,102.

I thought Arsenal made Man U look pretty average today; I'd have been more optimistic if today's game had ended a draw, but with Utd losing, I fear we may be on the end of a back-lash;

Reading 0 - 2 Man U

The optimist in me says we could get a draw, but any point against a top team like United would be a lot to ask.

Reading 1 Man Utd 2

Looking at the individial battles I think that Lita and Doyle could cause a bit of panic in the United back line.

Not convinced by Levre so Seol may have a chance. And Neville will be against Convey so that should be a good battle.

Midfield - Scholes, Carrick or Fletcher vs Sidwell and Harps could be close.

I fear that Rooney and Saha will have an edge on Sonks and Ivar.

Van De Sar may be out as well.

Ronaldo can be a match winner or like today a match loser after giving the ball away.

Kuszczak, Neville, Ferdinand, Brown, Evra, Fletcher, Scholes ,Carrick, Ronaldo, Rooney, Saha.

That Line up dosn't make me think we will get a thrashng at all.

I think with the help of Number 13 we may just see a 1-0 or 2-1 Reading win.

And there is no reason not to belive that. Now counting down to 5.15pm on Saturday !!!!

With the help of one of the most amazing atmospheres ever witnessed by Reading fans we will shock the pundits with a 3-1 win.
United will be over keen to compensate for their loss at home to the Arse and SONKO will score on 23 mins from a Shorey set piece.United will equalize shortly after half time and in pushing for a winner will be caught twice by late breaks by KEVIN KEVIN DOYLE.
3-1 Urz.
Attendance: packed to the rafters.Car parking:ridiculous.
