I'm always positive when it comes to Reading but not for this one, rare ocassion but we will lose this one, damage limitation exercise.

Reading 1 - 4 Man Utd

Lita for us and some over paid berks for them.

Att - 16,739 because it's on the box

That translates to "It's the taking part that counts"

That attitude is for losers. I doubt Coppell will adopt that approach.

If we stand off like we did for the first 20 minutes v 'Boro and City the game could be over.
If we get at them right from the off as we did in most games last season and against United yesterday we have a chance- a slim chance maybe but still a chance.
Perhaps Fergie will choose to play in grey colours as they famously did at Southampton then who knows? We could be in dreamland and in the EUFA spot for at least another week.

If we play like we did in the first half yesterday we'll murder them.

4-1 Lita (2) Doyle and Sonko for us. Shrek or the Portuguese faggot for them.

Blue and White Toucan
Kuszczak, Neville, Ferdinand, Brown, Evra, Fletcher, Scholes ,Carrick, Ronaldo, Rooney, Saha.

That Line up dosn't make me think we will get a thrashng at all.

It doesn't? 6 England internationals and 2 of the best young players in the world?

I actually think the occasion will spur us on and expect a similar game to Man Utd's trip to Watford. Them to win 2-1, but with the result not in much doubt from the off.

But let's face it: if we play badly, we're going to get thumped. And if Man U play to close to their potential, we're going to lose however we perform.

If both teams play to the top of their ability we will lose, simple as that.

However, I've got a funny feeling it will be a draw. 1-1.

If I thought Reading would lose and didn't have a chance, then I don't think I would bother turning up.

On their day, Reading are as good as the next team, a bit of luck, the crowd behind them and a good atmosphere can lead to anything in the Madejski Stadium.

For this reason, I will remain positive. A win will be aquired by the mighty Reading FC, in the form of:

Reading 1 - 0 Man Utd
Sidwell
