I can't say their midfield frightens me too much. I don't rate Fletcher too highly and Harper has had Carrick in his pocket before. Scholes is a danger, but I don't think he's the player he used to be. Ronaldo is a real threat as is Rooney but other than that I'm not overly concerned by their players. We are here on merit afterall.

2-1 to us

Harper and Lita.

The latter to take advantage of a stupid mistake by Rio late on to win us the points.

If we win they're gonna spank us at Old Trafford though.

I really wish that we hadn't had this sort of run up to this game (SU then Darlington). To a certain extent I think it will slow down our acclimation to the Prem. league. While we started very well, a lot of the SU game looked like Championship league play to me. Same will be true for the Darlington game. If only we could have continued to play more established Prem teams so we could keep the pace up.

Because of this I think the Man U game will be quite a hard go.

MAnchester United are going to take their huge, purple veined manhoods and rape each and every Reading player twice.

And I'll pay £25 for the privelege of watching it.

I hope the Reading players lube up before the game because it's going to be brutal.

Of the serious replies, I count 9 wins, 5 draws and 14 defeats. Whoever said Reading fans weren't optimistic!

Second half of Sheff Utd, I'd agree.

The first half we put in a convincing Premiership performance and with a bit for luck could have been 4-0 up at the break. Same for the first 10mins in the 2nd half. Once they pulled one back though, we shut up shop, which meant they came on to us. The fact that their attacking was Championship standard at best meant we could contain them with little to no problem.

The team that plays tonight will have no resemblance to the one that takes the field at 5.15 on Saturday so tonight has no baring for me.

If Reading play five across the middle, we'll get a point at least. If we can stifle their midfield and reduce Rooney to a handful of chances, we'll be in with a shout.

I'm going for 1-1. Team will be:

Hahnemann
Murty
Ingimarrsson
Sonko
Shorey
Seol
Gunarsson
Sidwell
Harper
Convey
Doyle

Subs: Stack, Bikey, Hunt, Little, Lita

I think we'll score one goal, just because we're at home, but they could score anywhere between 1 and 4 goals, and I don't think I'd be surprised either way.

So, I'll say 2-1, Man U wins.
