About 2000 less than the club reckoned'd roll up, guess we know why the 2000 other tickets were bought then.....

Surely nearly 10,500 is a good crowd for this fixture. It just shows how the fan base has grown over the years. I think 12,000 was quoted by the club to make those fans who were in 2 minds think they were missing out if they didn't go.

It wasn't so long ago that we would have had half that amount or even 10,500 for a league game.

Well done Reading fans for making the effort. (it was quite entertaining as well!).

The ST holder next to me left after 120 mins and missed the pens. How we have the reputation for plastic support is beyond me. Good to see all the moaners behind me could not be bothered to put in an appearance and hopefully RL and Schards can make the less important game on Saturday.

Quite a few people were leaving during extra time, almost all families as it was a school night.

One bloke near us left before Mate played basketball to equalise.

As ever my trusted leave when we're down and we'll equalise worked again
If we're 1.0 down with 10 mins left Saturday do I stay or do I go...hmmmm

yes unbelievable how many non regulars that left early thinking there would be a replay--what planet are these people on!! Also very pissed off after the game to see a Raeding 'fan' wearing a NO 9 Rooney shirt.
Did anyone see the Darlington fan tah fell over the advertising boards at the end--very amusing. Though that was an excellent turn out from Darlington for such a midweek game
