Murty's replacement

by HereWeCome » 01 Oct 2006 09:57

Presuming that Murts is injured and out of today's game, who would you rather come in as a replacement? It is likely to be De La Cruz or Bikey with a very slight chance of Gunnarsson filling in. I'm presuming Bikey is the main choice as he came on for him against Man U, but all the papers seem to think De La Cruz, and he is the one with th experience!

I'd prefer Bikey over De La Cruz.

DLC looked far too cavalier against Darlington and I think a team like West Ham would really make the most of his defensive frailties.

Bikey > Bryn > DLC

I think John Halls is an adequate replacement.

I imagine it will be De La Cruz. Bikey will have been on the bench because he is more versatile and can cover CB too. I'd expect De La Cruz to come in with Bikey staying on the bench.

Gunnarsson is far too slow to play right back and Halls is a big pile of dog shit.

I would rather it be De La Cruz all though I might regret this after the match.

This whole John Halls is shxt is not helping the player. He's a Reading player and should have our support. He must be a talent if he's still here, Coppell knows a lot more about players abilities than You and I so cheer him when he plays and back him, Could just be that sort of encouragement he needs.

On the OS Coppell says he has to chose between Bikey, DLC and Bryn to fill in at RB, so he's obviously thinking of Halls as a midfielder if he's still thinking about him at all....

More likely he's thinking of burying him in the back yard and forgetting he ever existed.

I'd prefer Bikey, but he's centre, not full back, so De La Cruz will/is playing!
