Believe Bolton did, although I note that in the rate the manager section bit further down, the Premiership manager ratings for September has Steve Coppell joint third with 86% bettered only by pompey and the Villa.

Eighth, after a bunch of very large talk about a top-five finish and the alleged brilliance of Sam Allardyce.

Coppell's been named Manager of the Week twice this season in Soccernet's Team of the Week section; once after United, and the other time after the season's first weekend.

Players who've made TotW are Sidwell for his showing in the Blades game, Sonko against United and Seol twice, both for last week and the curtain-raiser.

The decimal points were probably rounded up to the nearest whole number or something.

Without meaning to be a killjoy, I will leave it to the other fans to be surprised at our success.

Agreed in principle, but I went ahead and pulled the lever, as it were.

Final results, with 30,761 votes cast:
Pompey 31%
Villa 27%
Reading 38%
Bolton 4%

I thought this headline was funny, but oh so true!

P.S. Note to ESPN, only the first four words are required.
