i've sort of managed to get it working but not in the normal afreeca player, in some small screen that just stops and strts every couple of seconds. By the looks of it Bikey is down injured with Fearn treating him at the moment

I'm using afreeca, do a search for "live" in the search box. Reading is on there about 5 or 6 times

People beware - after I started using some of these programmes I suddenly found myself with some nasty virus/Trojan which has taken me ages to get rid of. I'm not sure whether anyone has had the same experience and whether it is coincidental and I picked it up elsewhere ...

However, some things to think about are:

a) these sites are based in China or thereabouts and a lot of hacking activity etc. is hosted in computers in China/Russia

b) what's in it for these sites? Why would they be offering this service with no apparent gain for themselves.

Just some questions - if someone knows more, I'd be gladly enlightened. Believe me, I've very much enjoyed watching Reading away games this season ... but I'm not sure it's safe anymore.

Its not thing that an up to date virus scanner and firewall won't protect you from. These softwares are just Internet Based tv channels. That they are from another country is irrelevent, just means its not illegal there. Usually you get viruses by downloading the software from somewhere other than the official site, because someone else bundled it in there.

I would recommend ZONE ALARM which is free and is available via downloads.com. This should stop any unwanted intrusions.

I gave up trying to Afreeca to work. I had a proxy running, but it kept dropping out. Saw some pictures occasionally, but very disappointing that they are blocking non-korean residents. I really liked the pundits in the studio who looked about 12 getting very excited.. I'll miss those guys even though I never had a clue what they were on about..
