Royal With CheeseOnly one Trevor Morley Anyone know what its like at the stadium currently?
HTH.
The question was "Anyone know what its like at the stadium currently?", not "What is it like at Stamford Bridge currently?".
Pay attention RWC.

Forbury Lion If the fans can't see the pitch then the game should be postponed.

They had undersoil heating at Anfield as well, it didn't help.willz_royal get back on oxf*rd topic
we have undersoil heating, which means that the ground temperature will be higher than the air, meaning no fog, i think, judging by the ITV explanation of it all

ShrewsandRoyals I have distant memories of another game where you couldn't see the other goal. Must have been mid 80's at the old Baseball Ground.
I think Colin Baille and Steve Wood dived to head the same ball in that game. Baille was spark out and Wood got up and was doing the headless chicken routine with his legs all over the place.

Sounds about right, hot air rises, heat up the floor, which heats up the air which makes the fog rise... we'll see...

It hardly makes the ground hot! It heats it slightly so that its just warm enough to get rid of any frost or snow etc.

if its that easy why don't they just turn on the engines of the planes at Heathrow and make all the fog go away?

tried the tarpaulin but they didn't have a piece big enough. They've asked if the windmill can be pointed at the stadium to simply blow the fog away.
At last it has a point...
