Doyle will be gone within 18 months. All the ingredients are there, signing his new contract, pledging his future publically etc etc.

 though i don't think he's far from correct. i'd say 30 months if he continues to improve, because we'll have the same issue as with sidwell this summer past

It strikes me that this shrewd Irishman is playing his hand in far superior fashion to a certain English midfielder.

If Doyler does depart within 18 months I'm betting it will be to a top club with a huge fee coming our way in return.

If not, he's guaranteed the kind of wage most of us can only dream about until 2010, even if, God forbid, he breaks his leg tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Sidwell has been losing a fortune every week having rejected 16k? a week thus remaining on his old deal (not much more than half what he turned down, I believe) whilst his agent plays hard ball with RFC.

As and when KD leaves I feel certain it will be with my blessing.......................wish I could be so sure about Sidwell :?

Yorkshire Royal London sucks for one simple reason. Too many people. Although I hope to get a job there soon...

i wouldnt work there again unless its for at least double money......i really miss standing up on the overpriced trains, smelly armpits on the tube, trains that rarely run ontime to work in smogville's city.....now i work in easygoing newbury, much much nicer

oh i forgot......uxbridge - a dive is complimentary!!

Oxford Road all the way :D

Bradford isn't that bad. There used to be no go areas for whites, same with Oldham, Burnley etc but i think the situation has improved. A lot of the Pakistani youth population in those towns was banged up for 7/8 years after the riots!

quote] Reading, or to be more precise, Tilehurst, is my home and I am proud to say that I live here. I would avoid Manchester like the plague after two of my friends were mugged for pence - one attacked with a machete. The police up there are impotent and don't want the paperwork.

Now Villa look to nab Bellamy

By MARK IRWIN
January 10, 2007

ASTON VILLA are ready to bid for Craig Bellamy after having a £5million offer for striker Kevin Doyle rejected by Reading.

Villa boss Martin O’Neill had put 10-goal Doyle, 23, top of his January wanted list but the Republic of Ireland star signed a new three-and-a-half year contract only last week and Royals boss Steve Coppell insists he is staying.

Only Didier Drogba and Cristiano Ronaldo have scored more Premiership goals than Doyle this season.

O’Neill is determined to land a reliable goalscorer after running out of patience with Milan Baros and Juan Pablo Angel.

He is aware Bellamy could be made available for sale by Liverpool just five months after his £6m move from Newcastle.

But Reds boss Rafa Benitez will not part with Bellamy until he has signed a replacement striker.

Stoke were also close to signing him and offered more than what Reading paid but Doyle and Long wanted to join Reading.

I hope you don't get offered double money, as I would hate to bump into an arsehole like you!!

Not that there is much chance of that, as it is 40 times the size of Reading with about 40 times the population too.

It nice to know that you don't generalize in your statements as you must have been to every part of London.
