Am a bit worried now - I downloaded pp stream and allowed it access to the internet - is that a problem? Will I be getting loads of viruses? I have Mcafee anti virus.

How can I uninstall it if it doesn't work? And how long does it normally take to get the match up? At the moment on pp stream its been on 9% for about 10 minutes.

I am running sopcast and it has been fine for the last hour. So hopefully it will be fine for the game.

If you have anti-virus this should pick up any worms, I have been running sopcast since the start of the season and it has been fine, no viruses.

I'm using PP stream and its taking an age to stream - how long does sopcast take you? Do youonly have one program downloaded - for example sopcast or more than one?

It took about 2-3 minutes and was a bit jerky afterwards for a few minutes but then was absolutely fine!!!!

Mr Controversial
I really can't be fcuked to trawl through 30 odd pages of links, nor do I have the time. Can someone please advise this idiot what link to use for a good picture, not too fussed about commentary?

Arnt we touchy today Scottish Royal - still recovering from the Haggis stabbing on Burns Night?

I didnt need a link to "another" source to watch the match, that is not what I asked. My question was specifically, and I quote:

Can anyone offer me any help please as I seem to be having a problem with http://www.freelivefooty.com.

I have had some great successes with this site before, excellent viewing, but now I cannot access their site and the TV software tells me that my username and password are invalid

Seems a little harsh to call me an idiot after you gave me a different answer to the question I asked

The idiot I was refering to was me!!!

ps, the haggis was lovely as always!

TVU Player is really good. No pauses at all. Plus obviously English commentary. Feck Hereford 2-0 down.

Reading - Wigan

by robtherich8 » 30 Jan 2007 22:35

Btw, I found the quality of the stream poor tonight no matter what software I used. On full screen occasionally I couldn't even see the ball it was that blocky. Better than being stop-start though.

Agreed - the quality wasn;t great but i'll take anything as it's just good to be seeing the Royals play live (give or take a few mins!). Didn;t have any buffering on PPMate, that's the most stable any of the games have been so far this season.

Oh and one thing i noted was the english commentary that was broadcast on Star Sports was also the exact same commentary used by Sky Sports on Football First - how does that work then? Is there a generic commentary provide by an outside source that companies can buy into and use on their programmes?

is Man City game live on the net ?
I understand Fox Sports are showing it as their lead game on Saturday afternoon, I just wanted to know the best site to watch it. ( I don't mind a pay site if necessary)

I would think that Star Sports buy the commentary from Sky, who are there at every premiership game anyway.
