Decent enough cover, given him another season to do the same job.

well i kinda figure, given the possibility of sidwells departure, its a good idea to keep him here.

i think he would do a sterling job for us given a run in the team.

A year extension for a decent squad player.

Surprised it's happened today but as much as I'm not much of a fan of his he's contributed well this year so it's probably well deserved.

I don't think for a minute he was signed because of the uncertainty of Sidwells future. As Hunts says, good untility player who has always done a reasonably well for us, and to be honest he deserves the new deal as he has shown a good attitdue since he has been at the club.

Let's hope he doesn't moan now about lack of first team opportunities.

Pleased but pleasantly surprised. Was certain he would go elsewhere but good news. :D

Under rated by too many and now my first choice reserve for central midfield.

A well deserved reward for a player who has the ability to be more than a squad player.............this new deal suggests he's not under valued by those who matter.

def under-rated by alot of people. glad that he's signed a new deal. since he arrived at reading he has had a good aattitue and this season he has proved that he is a valuable member of the squad who can play both on the wing and center midfield. fully deserved the new deal

And proved many people wrong at the same time.
Good move RFC.

I'm delighted he has signed for long, i still believe he will turn out to be a very good player given a decent run of games.

He seems to be maturing and has put in some decents performances so far this season.
