Royal Rother Whatever happens today, Lita aside, the team are playing some great stuff. A credit to the club as always.

Yea, it does sound like they've battled hard, plenty of chances... just one of those days I guess.

so, not getting your head up, and jockeying with your back to goal on the edge of their box isnt greedy?

No, not necessarily.

And what has that got to do with arrogance?

lita isnt really a team player at best of times. doesnt really matter as long as he is scoring goals but its days like today that he is VERY frustrating

Yep, I'd rather we huffed and puffed and took home a 1-0 win than nice pretty football and no points.

Of course it is, but he's a goalscorer and sometimes goalscorers need to be greedy. The Lita bashers have just been waiting for him to have a 'not so good' game so they can started bleating about him again.

Chasing an aimless punt into the corner and battling with a defender to win to create a crossing opportunity, thats greedy is it?

Sorry, Lita's been wonderful today. First touch magnificent, link up play - world class.

Look, there's no point denying it, he's had a stinker. He could still score a couple, so without Doyle being available he has to stay on, but there's no point giving him credit when it's not due.

And playing as a striker with bugger all service is very frustrating.

Middlesbrough have been very impressive today - tight at the back but the real difference being with the strikers - teirs can make somehting out of nothing without good service.

agreed. but thats why you need a team player to possibly drop a bit, get the ball, etc...if things are going your way you should try and change or adapt
