Arsenal played us off the park and would have beaten every team in the division the way they played that day. They were terrific.

There were several positives. My lasting memories will include (right up front) the incident when Rooney appeared to have broken clear and was chased down by Bikey; Sonkoesque he simply stepped across him and backheeled the ball to safety when so many defenders would have allowed Rooney to squeeze the ball between their legs and make a fool of them.

After an awful first half an hour Bikey turned his game and showed that there is immense potential there.

Oh, and Oster's rise to stardom continues. He was close to MoM for me, along with Saha.

Positives:

1. After dodgy 20 minutes thought Bikey was superb although looked more comfortable going forward.

2. Oster showed what an excellent footballer he is, shame there isn't a spot for him regularly

3. Another 90 minutes for Kitson and an hour for Doyle is good news.

Bikey looked out of it after the clash of heads early on, but slowly turned his perfomance around until in the second half he was immense. Started going past players for fun. Contract for My. Bikey please.

Bryn led by example, and must surely be considered a first team player.

For me the ultimate positive was: when we went three down (in six minutes!) it never occurred to me that we would be humiliated. I just felt we could nick a goal. From there, we'd push for a second and once that went it, Manure would poo themselves so much we'd take them to extra time. OK, so the timing didn't work out, but that confidence in our team was borne out of experience.

No. 13 - absolutely tremendous last night, after recovering from the horrendous start. At times it was like the Wigan play-off semi I thought, particularly after the second goal.

Bikey got the ovation of the night for his handling of Rooney, closely followed by the lino after giving his (first?) offside decision against Man U. Quite amusing I thought.

Fancy kicking off at 8.05pm just so Extenders can finish and give only 5 mins of pre match gibberish.Rageous.
Now there should have been at least 15 minutes of prematch gibberish with the Kick orf at 8.15 pm.That way Man Utd would never "of" got those 3 goals and we would "of" won 2 nil with Fergies head exploding on the touchline and Oliver Holts mum making him go to bed at half time without any supper.
