I would say the plastic fans are those who bought season tickets last season so they could see premiership football this, but didn't go to the remainding championship games.

I haven't been since the birth of my son (2004) and would love to go but it's too far and too expensive to get there at the moment.

Anything else doesn't really matter, you'll always have diehards and you'll have those who go once in a blue moon.

But with any sense they'll all be cheering for the royals.

I have 2 boys under 3. Main reason for getting to matches as much as i would. Also the bank manager likes me to pay the mortgage at the end of the month.

Read this thread made good reading. I do not care that people may think that I am a platsic because i can not get to many games.i Know that i am reading fan. I hope that my two sons when they get older share my love of this great club.

I have bumped into quite few royals over the last couple of years. My friends also get fed up with me banging on about RFC.But this season seems to have shut them up.
