I like Harold. He makes us all feel better about ourselves.

Royalee Agree with Hunt, but he does need to shut up and concentrate on getting his form back.

It doesn't exactly interrupt his training to give the occasional interview, does it?

No, but it still doesn't send out the right message when he's been absolutely dreadful in his last few games. I'd like to see him get back to his January form before he starts mouthing off in the press.

Were Ireland not neutral?

no, Ireland was part of Britain

During WWII?

Numpty.

ah yes i was thinking about the 1st one, don't know why

Ireland were not neutral. There was many an irish man killed in both wars

Ireland was Neutral. However many Irishmen decided to join up and fight with the allies regardless.

True, and many Irishmen spied for the Germans regardless...

There is good evidence that the Nazis also had a liaison with the IRA to arrange an attack through Ireland into our back door.

To tie it all up, the nation of Ireland was (and is) neutral, and hence did not take an active part in WW2; there were then, and there are now, many Irishmen (from both sides of the border) in the British Army.

Oh, and Bas Savage didn't take part in the war either, hope that was helpful.
