Great news! I'm sure for as long as he can walk out to the dugout the job will be his.

Great news!!!

And, for those who couldn't tell the difference between this contractual negotiation and Sidwell's, I hope this helps ( but I won't hold my breath  )

holsgrove breaks a leg Great news- and it gives security to our backroom staff who in my opinion have played as bigger part in Readings recent success alongside SC.

agreed - great news

I would expect Dillon to sign a similar deal now and hopefully Wally Downes.

Very good news. I hope we all remember this when there is an inevitable dip at some point in the next 2 years, this is football after all.

SC will have to gradually build a new team as I would expect the team to look different in 2 seasons time. As sad as it is to say it's unlikley that Little and maybe a couple of others will be starting in 2 seasons time ater this one.

After the drought of RFC games and the below tedious England performances the football section of my brain was starting to ponder topping itself. This news albeit expected has given grounds for some serious air punching.

Top news.....It now means Copps can build the team how he wants even more and consistency is always a good sign for stability...

Sidwell can do whatever he wants now...I'm sure Copps already has replacements lined up..

YESSSSSSSSSS!

The day after the 'promotion anniversay' - makes me bristle with pride, it does. It's like scoring another goal, winning another game, signing another player - no, much more than all of those. Steve Coppell, what a bloody hero!

Disappointed to be honest. What's he ever really done for us?
