Not the best of performances as a team - Mason himself was OK, but was horribly let down by two of the worst linos seen for many a long year.

One should have been pensioned off years ago - he was too old and fat to keep up with play.

And what was all the bollox about calling play back because the goal kick was 1 inch outside the lines, but letting Fulham take throw-ins wherever they liked?

Capitulated under the pressure, when Long got above Zat Knight leagally and put through Doyle, who was then fouled, and still gave the foul Fulham's way, don't understand why. Thought all the officials were very poor.

Further proof that Mason's a shit referee, along with 90% of the other referees in this country.

I'll tell you why - he bottled it. Knew that if he gave the foul against Doyle he would have to issue a red card to the last defender for bringing him down.

Mason was as bad as his linesmen for letting Fulham take free kicks and throw ins from wherever they liked. On several occasions made the Fulham players go back for a throw and then let them run even further forward as they took it. However, his worst moment was after he blew up against Kitson for a handball well inside in their area. He then held up play whilst a substitution was made before allowing play to resume with their keeper taking the free kick several yards out of the area!

In the last couple of minutes he and the lino on the East Stand side tried to trump their previous failings. Oster disputed the award of a throw in to Fulham a couple of yards away from their corner flag. The ball went out right under the lino's feet. However, after Oster backed off the lino then allowed the Fulham player to advance the best part of ten yards in taking the throw!

He called it back because Hahnemann took a freekick near the edge of the penalty area when the lino had actually awarded a goal kick. To say it was 1" outside the lines is suggesting you really weren't watching - he was nearly outside the penalty area - nowhere near the goal area.

The linesman today were the worst pair i've seen in ages, especially the inept, blind one over near the east stand. Make me mad!!

yeah that was Hahnemann thought but he was being stupiod on some of niemi goal kicks. also the throwings today was a joke letting fulham take it from where they wanted.

The confusion was caused because both Hahnemann and the fulham fowards (judging by their furious reactions) thought that it was given for offside at roughly the place where Hahnemann restarted

Still not as bad as Graham Poll... unless he had an agreement with Lawrie to ignore the laws restarting the game?
