Doyle won't get 20 league goals while at Reading.

Even Rooney, Berbatov, Van Persie etc don't get 20 league goals. Drogba only just got 20 this season.

It's remarkable that Katie 'FACT' Marsden can state this when Doyle hit 13 this season despite missing two months with injury, and continues to become a better player.

You simply can't make that comparison.
IMO Doyle is an out-and-out striker, whereas Rooney and Van Persie are not. So I'd expect Doyle to get more than them TBH.
Doyle could possibly get 20 next season!

Most definitely not, Doyle is a forward. Lita is an out and out striker

I don't believe that anyone could say Doyle is an out and out striker. He does most of his work outside the box in holding up the ball and running down the channels.

It is very unlikely that Doyle will get 20 next season for 2 reasons.

1) Very few strikers get 20 a season in the premiership especially allowing for squad rotation and injury.

2) Our style of play is more condusive to the strikers getting a split of goals between them if this season is anything to go by, especially as we had 3 strikers playing well unlike Chelsea who just had the 1 striker and most of the play was geared around him.

Yes, but over 10 years it's worth a little flutter, don't you think?

I'd be quite interested to see how it will be paid seeing as one or both of us will not be using HNA by then
