He's going to play as sweeper and take all the goal kicks for Marcus.

Sweeper? Excellent. It's about time someone cleaned under the seats at the Mad Stad.

Just don't make him Ron Grant's assistant, he's even more clueless with an iron than he is in goal.

hope he comes back and proves to the doubters he is a good keeper. I think he can be, in fact i'm certain he can be.

Stack > Federici.

I'm guessing from the lack of talk of a new contract that his ends in 2008 and not 2007. Guess this means he'll be third choice for next year or maybe they'll let Fed go out on loan. By my count we have 5 keepers at the mo: Hahnemann, Federici, Stack, Anderson and Hamer. Have to say I was a bit surprised that we offered Hamer a new deal but he sounds quite promising and his wages will hardly be expensive.

i have it on authority he looks like leaving in the summer as Coppell now sees Hahnemann and Federici ahead of him in the pecking order

Yawn.

Much happier to have A Fed as reserve keeper than Stack. Was reasonable in the few games he got for us, but not sure thats good enough.

fed has looked impressive in the games he has played and im sure soon with hahnemann knocking on a bit that he will get more chances in the future. hope that we will hold on to him aswell. also the mikel andersson is highly rated but too young to be forced into the team at the momment.

Judging by some Reading fans, Federici should be 1st choice after playing 6 games for us.

It will be an interesting question as to who starts next season. Hahnemann's injury is far more serious than being made out and despite having it operated a couple of weeks back, could still the miss the opening game.

I hope Stack goes, am I right in thinking he's never kept a clean sheet?
