2.8 lita injection Readings away support is a joke, you can understand why other supporters laugh at us :(

Do they now? How exactly did you glean such information? No offence, but - if this really bothers you as much as it seems to - is it fair to say that you are quite simple?

2.8 lita injection Im only a part time reading fan.....

Oh I don't doubt it  .

2.8 lita injection .....but i went 90% of the away games last season, i dont understand how we can get 20k of home fans and less than 2k away??

This is, to all intents and purposes, a glorified training match. Hence why the overwhelming majority, yourself included I would assume, do not care to attend a training match played 2 hours drive away. I wouldn't dream of knocking those who are attending by the way; I commend you for your bloody-minded loyalty and I hope that you are rewarded with a good performance.

Compo shall be making a trip to the black country now handbags_harris has twisted my arm.

This is a decent test against a team in the higher regions of the championship who start their season at the same time as us.

Looks like i'll be on my own with the back from the game thread

People like you really niggle me. What gives you the right to criticise those who go to away matches to support Reading? Many of whom travel thousands of miles in appalling weather, put up with poor conditions at many grounds and spend thousands of pounds in the process. To call us a joke is utterley outrageous.

I am not criticising those that go to away games, far from it. I am merely pointing out a fact that Reading fans find a lot of excuses regarding away games.

You are a joke - not that I'm criticising you , far from it. :?

At which away games have you thought our support was "laughable"? At the games I went to last season I was very proud to be a Royals fan and thought we were suitably noisy and supportive, and with a respectable number attending.

They do?

Are their comments the height of Wildean wit?

Or are they the same bollocks that every set of fans utters, regardless of numbers, noise, whatever?

come on, they sing "worst support we've ever seen". Just imagine that, the 1500 we have at Everton must surely have been the worst support those fans have ever seen at Everton since they've started supporting the club, or they wouldn't have sung it if it wasn't true.

Also, given that we often seem to have the misfortune of playing teams that are "by far the greatest team the world has ever seen" I also think coppell should get more praise than he does for our league position.

Mimms

A different Mimms from the one who played for, well, all of the 80s and 90s?

He is their keeping coach, so could be.
