No attacking threat really for us yet. Closing them down well all in all, but they look likely to grab a goal at some point for sure.

Need 4-4-2

it won`t happen, definately not pretty but effective up to now, I think united will score at some stage then we will have to come out

midfield and defence look fine, we just need better wing service and I don't think Murty and Se(BOooooooooooooo)ol are really cutting the mustard. seems like seol has his heart at another club, where as murty has the desire to do well, just not the technical execution.

I cant think of 3 consecutive passes we put together in the whole game, I not getting alot of pleasure from this performance.

Play this game again and it would be 3-0 by now. We are level because United haven't woken up properly yet.

Turning the screw now mind you, the ball is barely out of our third.

Raced in and lunged at Evra. Straight red 37 seconds after coming on. FFS Dave.

Now Reading fans, tell me again that signing no strikers in 2 years is a good thing. FFS.

Watching the replay, other refs might have settled at a yellow. It was late, hard, one-footed, but a definite attempt to play the ball. Harsh perhaps, but one way to avoid it was not to dive in like that.

MiniRoyal For those of us without sky, what happened with Kitson?

Kits went sliding in on evra and caught him in the between the ankle and skin studs slighty raised

Dived into a tackle and caught Evra`a kicking foot, only one result now IMO
3 game ban, down to just 2 strikers

Excessive card imho.
Yellow definitely.. Red doubtful.

Daniella

Never a red card in a million years. Appauling refereeing.
If united score now it'll go down in history as " would we of hung on with 11 men".

Really really bad decision that, how he deemed that a red i'll never know.

I worry for the future of football when some people actually consider that a genuine red card offence. Get real.

Agreed. Sorry Daniella, but Styles is well within the rules here. It was very late, the boot was high, and Kitson hit him hard.

Bloody idiot. Doyle and Long for Chelsea now.

Vidic appeared to raise his hands and push one of our players over during a corner.
Hahnemann isn't claiming everything cleanly, but is doing a great job of keeping the ball out so far.

Referees have no discretion, even if they wish to use it. Mr. Styles will never use discretion, anyway (Unless, of course itis Ebra on Hunt...).
