Redknapp is alright and does usually speak a fair but of sense, but he's far too busy and over keen.

He's enjoying what he's doing! you can't fault him for that. It shows a bit of passion for his work. I'd rather watch him than lawro, hanson or shearer!

LOL

Welcome, Jamie, to RFC messageboards, where being a 30-something ex-pro with a huge amount of passion for the game is something to be criticised.

Daniella
Oi Oi Saveloy Sadely, we think anyone who says good things about is a good pundit, and we discredit those who do not spend their time complimenting us. It just makes us just as subjective as these so called pundits.

Actually, no. I would of liked him anyway, I just like the way he's honest and prepared to counter something if its his belief. You can tell from his body language he's passionate about what he says and he doesn't come across smarmy and cocky like a lot of others.

Agree. Savloy you are talking crap. JR talks sense and doesn't just use cliches to pad his time. Intelligent and not arrogant with it, good pundit IMO.

Maguire Happy to be the sole voice who thinks Redknapp is actually quite a shit, cliched, poorly-expressed pundit.

I suppose he'll get better.

I agree entirely.

I don't necessarily mean over keen in the sense that he's too passionate about the football, more that he likes the sound of his own voice a bit too much.

Sometimes you see him directing questions at the other guest as well. I'd imagine Keys must secretly want to give him a slap on occasion.

I don't think I've ever heard him say anything negative about a player or a team though.

I'm all for positivity but some times you have to dish out a bit of criticism when it's due, even if it is a tough to admit on live TV that your cousin shouldn't be in the national team or that some of you mates have been a let down to the nation.

He's a stupid, patronising, toadying try-hard with no real respect for any of the other 'experts'. Not his fault though, it's SKY who pay him so he must think he's doing something right.

Great double team with Gullit yesterday who manages to have absolutely nothing of interest to say on any subject whatsoever.

Ruud "Double-Red" Gullit.........f*ckin' prick!

Fair play to Redknapp for not just agreeing with the orange-loving, clog-wearing, dope-smoking tosspot!

In the words of the Kaiser Chiefs:

Ruudi, Ruudi, Ruddi, Ruddi.............F*ck off, F*ck off, F*ck off, F*ck off

Not the brightest spark in the box but are any of the pundits?
Shearer,Lineker,Lawro,Hansen and particularly Merson believe that the only clubs that count are the big 4.
Jamie does at least try to look at a game from the point of view of both sides.

Redknapp's a top pundit and knows what he's talking about.

As far as Gullit goes, he deserves a good shoeing - what bloody business was it of his to even be in the tunnel before shouting his mouth off anyway? Dutch tosser.

sorry - but just because he was nice about us (in this game) does not make him anything other than what he is.......... the worst pundit on telly

says nothing of interest - he is nice to everybody as he doesnt want to offend

except when chavski and his beloved (relative) fat frank are playing when he is as biased as they come

dont forget long after everyone else in the media other than oLOLiver hoLOLt had excepted the hunt cech incident to be an accident redknapp was still taking fat franks side - bringing it up and expressing the apparent fact that 50% of the media and fans agreed that it was intentional

My mate reckons she snogged him when they were kids.

I don't know if it is true but she wouldn't normally lie about this sort of thing.

That is all.

ps Think he is one of the better pundits as well.

WyW_URZ Redknapp: Repeats things that have just been said to him and rearranges the words. Had me turning on the interactive just to try and get rid of him.

Things that have just been said of him had me turning to Redknapp. Just get him on the interactive and try the android’s words: too rear repeat range.
