I'm sure Radio 5's sports round up mentioned that Peter Cisse got sent off for us against Chelsea.

From the Times review of the Chelsea game.
The bookings were for fouls, overenthusiastic rather than malicious, but the culprits were largely the usual suspects, including Hunt for Reading and his former captain Sidwell, for Chelsea.

Murty might argue that statement...

It's not just us - the BBC continuity announcer has just said "In their first match since the departure of Jose Mourinho, Arsenal face Derby in Match of the Day, next."

I'm sure I just heard the Sky guy, on match choice say" Kevin Harper takes the points in a last gasp strike for Reading"

It's either the subtitler or the commentator (Tony Gubba? Who's he?) on MOTD who were confused about Kitson's first name. At the start of the Reading game, the subtitles said that lining up alongside Kevin Doyle is Dave Kitson and after that called him Paul Kitson (3 times!) I was surprised that the commentator (or the subtitler) got Harper's first name right.

Those guys are idiots.

Independent 22nd Sept. Big article on Hahnemann. Refers to Graham Shorey.

Whole article below if you are interested in the old guns/cars/giving his shirt away stuff.

Watched Reading World's Sunderland highlights, and it referred to Bobby "Canvey".

This should never be unsticky, I laugh all the time.

Even the BBC Berks guy tonight saying that Torres sealed it with a penalty late on, makes me smirk.

Although personally a thread slagging off Gary Britles deserves to exist in it's own right... a fascist moderator disagrees..

So to summarise.

Birtles is a kunt....

This from the BBC preview of our game:

A relegation six-pointer, home to Derby, follows this match.

FFS, bit early to be calling it 'a relegation six-pointer' - we'll only be a quarter of the way through the season. Win tomorrow and we could be in the top half.

On current form and league placings, sadly the Derby game is a relegation six pointer.

Going back a couple of postings, Tony Gubba is a broadcasting legend. Always seems to get the Reading gig and seems to love us, especially Hunt.
