by higher » 22 Dec 2007 17:05

Huntys battling for the free kick that lead to our first and his winner must put him in good stead but a number of good showings.Who gets your nod ?
Just great to win a vital game deep into injury time.Happy Crimbo All.

Go with USA on the basis he sounds like he made several crucial saves. Sounded like we could have been on for a pasting in the last 10 if he hadn't pulled off a couple of crackers.

Hunt for me. But what a cross by Long to give him a chance for the winner. But Hunt took it well and he also hit the woodwork with what would have been a cracker.

Marcus with solid work, a huge save to stop the Cats from going up 2-1.

I thought the midfield actually controlled most of the game for a change. Although we were very sloppy for the last 20.

Great win! And as you point out higher, lots of choices for motm.

Yes, his one on one save with Kenwyne was great. Jones tried to go between his legs, but Marcus' manhood came through.

Hunt mom.

Kitson had a cracker too - Such an intelligent player.

Marcus played well too, made some good saves. Play like that every week and I really don't have a problem with him being No:1.

Thought all 3 of the fans' favourite objects of derision (Hunt, Hahnemann and Gunnar) had decent games but it has to be Hunty for me......................is this man making c*nts of his detractors, or what :?

Frankly, he was unlucky not to get a hat trick playing on his wrong side and, if anyone thinks Convey, or anyone else for that matter, is just going to regain their fitness and take his place, it's time they woke up and smelt the coffee.

Of course Roy Keane would like him to bring some much needed quality to his expensively assembled squad of Championship cloggers but he'll need to keep on dreaming.

Having said all that, the much maligned Hahnemann kept us in the game for the third week running....................well done, big fella.

Hunty, for me. He had a cracking game topped off by the last minute goal. Kits was a close second.

As an impartial observer would say the keeper but cannot bring myself to refer to anyone as USA. So will have to vote using unorthordox methods.

Hunt. The last of my worries about him are gone for now. That was a fantatstic performance, all energy commitment and, yes, skill. Premiership quality. It will take deep pockets to prize him away from us.

No, I mean his value to us far outstrips what anyone else would sensibly pay for him.

think Hunty just edges it for me, fantastic work rate, good skills and lovely to watch, a special mention to marcus, his saves kept us in it.

Hunt.

But have to say that Kitson is looking more like Berbatov every week - and he's prepared to work hard and tackle and stuff!!
