Daniella Murphy= Arrogant tosser. Kitson has been heads and shoulders above him this season and he has the cheek to say:

"I’ve forgotten his name, and that shows how big a name he is"

No, it shows that you are a cluelss prat who obviously hasn't followed the premiership this season. Kitson is the top english scorer.

You idiot Murphy. Everyone knows it's Paul Kitson.

I think Kitson is quite refreshing in most of his views but I kind of do agree with some of the original post in that these reporters would be just looking for him to put his foot in it at some point.

But more importantly, from what he's said, it's quite clear that Kitson is a bit of odd-man out when it comes to the other players at Reading. And while there is nothing wrong with his views or the fact that he's different from your average player, I think he needs to decide to mitigate any potential problems that this may cause. There is more than a whiff in his words of judgement about others not doing or thinking as he does and that certainly isn't going to make him any mates. Any further elaboration on the point will only serve as a divisive feature within the team.

As for his FA Cup comments, well .... surely this isn't so much a true read of his feelings as it's what Reading players have to tell themselves to be able to bear the farce that is the FA Cup at Reading. I know it's what I have to tell myself.

He wasn't too upset about losing that game though. He is a Tottenham fan after all.

Amazing how people over react, it is an obvious personal dislike for him and for people to bring up old threads is very sad.

Probably a lot of people who have been proven wrong just trying to prove something.....

If he was shagging a girl of 15 & had a coke habit i could understand.

I usually agree with most of your posts 2.8 but not this time. I have been on the receiving end of a collision thanks to a drunken driver on the motorway and it was a scary experience. I survived to tell the story but it could have been different.
I think Dave needs to keep his head down (especially from breathalysers) and let his football do his talking. Keep him in the side by all means and dont villify him like Lita was by some...but it does not alter the fact that he has acted stupidly and probably very selfishly.

Yes, I don't think videoing yourself having sex is actually a crime (though i could be wrong). A bit purvy perhaps but not actually a crime.
Drink driving of course is a crime and there can be no excuses.

Likewise I have been hit by a drunk driver and it was the most scary experience of my life. Absolutely no excuse for this. Sadly my thoughts are that coupled with his ill timed comments about the FA Cup he is now coming across as a bit of an arrogant prat and doing no favours for the club at all currently.

I have an uncle who is permanently disabled as a result of being hit by a drunk driver, so as much as I love Kits for his football (RFC Player of the Year for me so far) and for his honesty when giving opinions about the game, for this particular offence I have to mark him down as a complete twat. I hope he learns the error of his ways before it's too late.

You're right. Coppell and Madejski will be narked.
The away fans will make a big deal about it, he's a tabloid star now.
I hope he's tough enough for it not to effect his game. Characters like Sol Campbell and Joey Barton weren't.

Don't know about Kitson but Lita has just made some amazing comments of Radio Berks!!!

He's slagged of Coppell for his comments, for not playing him, for playing him against Spurs and said he wants to move on if anyone comes in for him.

To come out with the stuff he just has is engineering a move if ever I've heard it.

Not necessarily a smart move in a business-minded club. They may feel that in the long run it's worth the cost of paying his wages and turning down a transfer fee just to show other players that you can't mouth your way out of the club. Leroy may just be consigning himself to another 12-18 months in limbo.

He actually claimed that Coppell was engineering it. Despite saying we weren't going to let anyone go, according to Lita, Coppell had already told him that he can go if an offer comes in!

So despite repeatedly saying every PL team needs 4 class strikers we are prepared to let one of our 4 proven PL strikers go! What chance we will have a replacement lined up? About the same as us signing anyone else who will come straight into the team and hit the ground running! Sweet FA!

And please don't make we laugh by suggesting Cox. Coppell won't play the youngsters even when he doesn't have another specialist to cover the position they play in (as happened to Pearce today).

The very fact that we are a business-minded club is exactly why that won't happen.

Far more likely that he will be scoring goals for one of the teams that survive at our expense!
