Wycombe Royal
Squelchy2507 Sunderland - only permanent signing so far is Mvoto - never heard of him and certainly NOT proven in this division.

You missed Jonny Evans.

True, he's equally unproven at this level though.

Also those teams on there with the exception of Fulham (Boro, B'ham, Bolton and Sunderland) have all been improving recently. Getting good results home and away whereas we slip from one heavy defeat to another.

He played one match and they kept a clean sheet.

the key phrase is "permanent signing". Jonny Evans is only on loan and not exactly proven in this division (only made one PL appearance so far).

Reading have better home form than Birmingham and Boro, and better away form than Bolton and Sunderland. All is not lost!

Think you are imagining things. I wouldn't say losing by 2 goals consitiutes a heavy defeat, and we haven't lost by more than 2 goals since September.

And nothing to do with our fixture list either i suppose.

Kebe, Matejovsky, Nwoku, a Polish keeper. I find myself agreeing with RR – we are going to have a pretty decent squad in the Championship.

Not being funny, but I'll be surprised if we aren't bottom 3 come 26th Jan.

What will it take for people to accept that we might have a few months of struggle ahead?

Biscuit This has been reported as a done deal in France (football365.fr), and that he's a forward.

If it helps, I've accepted it.

I'd like the club to do as much as possible to avoid it though please.

Of course, but I think we'll have just enough to avoid the drop.

100% agree, we all know we're now in a relegation battle, but it could so easily of been avoided with a little bit more savvy from Coppell, the chairman and his staff.

I just get the feeling we are going to struggle on and any new signings will again not make any impact this season. They'll be great in the Championship.

Yep and all it says on the OS is that we've made an enquiry - not clear what that enquiry was. Could have been: How do you pronounce his name? Is he a vegetarian? etc.

I will be, considering there is only this Saturday's games in the Prem and nothing until the 29th/30th.
