The 17 Bus Bikey in violent conduct shocker, not. We should withdraw his contract, once a twat always a twat.

Dirk Gently Wouldn't be surprised if he gets an extended ban for that.

Will the suspension carry over domestically? :o

I guess it might if it is a lengthy FIFA imposed one.

Come back Alex Pearce, all is forgiven!!!

Although I've not seen this incident and do not condone violence in any way, could it not possibly have been the case that Bikey was concerned that just picking Song up and moving him onto the trolley doodah might have been a good idea dependent on Song's injury?

Dirk Gently
chilipepper91 Can you actually be sent off for that? Technically...

Violent conduct doesn't have to be directed just at opponents.

Quite right - if in doubt ask a certain wrist breaker called Gerard Lavin!

As for Bikey - this is the clown that is meant to return and save us from relegation?!!

Steve Coppell - you damn well should be losing sleep over the prospect!

How can I put this?

There were at least three or four Cameroon players closer to the incident who I am sure would have expressed that view verbally.

Seriously, Bikey had a good old run up to the shove, he started out far enough away to be in no position to judge the extent of Song's injury. Some prior consultation would have been politic.

I'm not exaggerating - this was one of the most stupid things I've ever seen a player do. Highly highly embarrassing to Bikey, Cameroon and - I'm afraid to say - our beloved club.

Just in case I am getting carried away (we are all extra sensitive when it is one of ours), there are highlights on BBC Three at 8pm tonight. I'd be more than happy to be told that I am making too much of this.

You won't be. If you haven't seen it, however bad you imagine it might be, it is worse.

Pretty embarrassing for us all really.

We do need him though.

Maybe he just wanted to get back and help Reading.
