Head says 1 all, although for once I think things are 'stacked' for us so my heart says we can nick a win.

With regard to Fezza's earlier post about 5 yellows only being a slap on the wrist, that is the case from March onwards. And as we have no games before March we cannot pick up any more bans for 5 yellows. Whereas Young's 5th yellow was received in February.

And 1 each by the way. Cue for much euphoria.

3-2 Reading

Boro go two up early in the first half, then Shorey goes on a mazy run and energizes the team.

Half time we get it back to 2-2 and early in the second Leroy blasts one in from 3 inches , and we hang on (although a perfectly good Boro goal is disallowed for offside) for our first away win of the year.

Ideal
Fezza
Ideal Us 0
Them 3

easy to cut and paste for all the games left this season!

Might as well, the results are likely to be similar until we get someone in midfield who can actually tackle, and a non-suicidal defence.

I thought you didn't care about this season anymore?

I have no idea why but I have a feeling we might sneak at least a point in this one.

I predict we will win on a questionable penalty decision.

Mandella is shut now?? That's been on the cards for a while!

Anyway, I think these wins come when you least expect it. 2-1. We go behind (as we always do) but come back in the second half to nick it. Lita will score both goals and say something outrageous afterwards about how he should've been playing all season.

Boro are a fairly physical team and with our featherweight central midfield and shaky defence I can't see past a 2-1 defeat. The usual 94th minute consolation goal but we never look like being in the game.

Boro 2 (1) - Alves 27, Young 49
Reading 1 (0) - Kitson 90

I will gladly eat my words if proved wrong with a 3-0 win.

Murty will be proud of our effort. Coppell will not fault the team but admit that Boro were the better side. Harper will be gutted. Hunt will state that we need to kick on.
