earleyroyal Boro are a fairly physical team and with our featherweight central midfield and shaky defence I can't see past a 2-1 defeat. The usual 94th minute consolation goal but we never look like being in the game.

Boro 2 (1) - Alves 27, Young 49
Reading 1 (0) - Kitson 90

I will gladly eat my words if proved wrong with a 3-0 win.

good luck with that, youngs suspended

Last season, a run by Nicky Shorey on the opening day while 2-0 down to Boro set Royals on their way in the Premiership. How we'd love a moment like that again today.

I hope we're quite negative today as i think a point is more than achieveable.

0-0

Suprisingly Jeff Stelling in today's Sun says 0-2
