Yes, put De La Cruz into the team - that'll make all the difference because our poor season has nothing to do with our useless midfield and everything to do with Shorey.

I don't recall this claim being made anywhere in the thread - it was merely a suggestion, based on Shorey's appalling form of late and as stated at the start has no realistic prospect.

Lack of realism doesn't stop it being debated on here, or would you rather it did?

Shorey has been shite recently, but the facts are he is still our best left back and is a shoe in to play every game. He still delivers the best free kicks so will always get selected, rightly or wrongly.
