The Trapdoor is opening.

Just watched the scene's of peteroborugh walking round the pitch with the sky sports script saying " peterborough are promoted", loads of shots of their players dancing and hugging, etc
Hold that thought.

Bolton win today and we are being sucked out of the premiership, we are now favourites for that 3rd place.

I can see a similar images at derby away on the last day. Steve coppell walking round the pitch murty on his knees shirt over his head with the sky sports title saying " reading are relegated from the premiership".

Keep the faith. It ain't over 'til it's over. Remember, it takes more muscles to frown than to smile.

Thats not true. Still Bolton and Birmingham are more likely to go down.

How are Bolton more likely to go down? Above us, better goal difference, better recent form, players who are leaving everything they have out on the pitch in an effort to stay up - Nolan couldn't walk the other week after the West Ham game. I hate Bolton but they are more likely than us to stay up after today.

When you say "favourites" do you mean that you'd like us to go down? Or that you think we'll go down? Because we're not favourites for relegation with the bookies - the impartial judges. We're longer odds than Fulham, Bolton and Birmingham.

Edit: Oh, sorry. I was beaten to the punch by a load of other people that wanted to point out that you're wrong.

Todays line up was a bit of an experiment IMO, by the second half, we were not that bad, and could take points against Any or even all 3 of our remaining opponents, the same can not be said of Bolton, they have Chelsea remember!

Arsenal are unbeaten at home this season, and we were never going to change that.

So stick the trap door up your bum.

We must have good cheer.

Now I'm off for a Beer!

Next weekend is huge for us. We win and Bolton/Birmingham lose and with two games to go we look a good bet for survival, lose and we're all but doomed.

Will we go away and win though? I don't think we will and I don't think we will at Derby either.

It looks bleak.

Bookies have been wrong, where did they have us at the start of the season? Point made, hope you accept this point.

With our run in and current away form we are not likely to get two points or so. Id back bolton to equal if not better this and it sup in the air with birmingham, i think they'll do enough and we won't, we look dead and buried.

Yeah, I know we're your favourites to go down, and I might happen to agree with you. That doesn't actually make us "favourites" to go down in any important sense, because we're not.

By the way, bookies making us 4th favourites to go down doesn't mean they're wrong if we do.
