Yes. Billy Whiz. :-)

Actually, Bikey in to back 4 with Bryn alongside Marek... Comprends-pas?

Because (to use current terminology, and based on recent evidence)

Bikey Holding Midfielder>>>>>>>Bikey Defender.

Now, if there were questions regarding the centre backs against Spurs, I would suggest that Berbatov and Keane would be best suited to Cisse (remember his performance against Man Yoo's short arse, quick forwards?) +A N Other (probably Ivar)

Bikey immense, esp in the 1st half - positively a clone for Vierra at his prime.

Doobs fine too, Little in 15 mins did far more damage than Doyle ever threatened on the RHS.

Wigan more effective in the 1st half (we never looked like scoring) - 2nd half we woke up, well a few started snapping around with urgency.

Thankfully L'pool had more goal threat than us.

Possibly Marek for Harper...defo Glen for Doyle...anybody for Hunt (truly woeful).

Same strike(!?!) force...Leroy's balance seems to have improved.

What were the Wigan fans like, were they always chanting and did they outsing you royal fans? When I went to a Reading v Wigan game at home earlier in the season. I Ithought the Wigan fans were really good at Reading and had great suppurt to get behind their team.

Was the Wigan support better then the Reading FC support at home?

Pretty poor match between too poor sides...

Bikey shone out yet again and was my MOTM - he had far more discipline and positional sense than Harper in midfield, which really does go to show how poor the latter is.

Duberry came in and did a job, Kitson worked hard, Lita looked dangerous to be fair to the guy and Little looked decent when he came on.

The rest were pretty mediocre really.

Dick Habbin's hairdo The plus points: Hahnahahmaneman didn't flap... Much, and one sharp save. Bikey immense. Errr, that's about it. Oh, we got a point.

The negatives; as much as I hate to say it Harps was "rubbish" and Hunty worse - almost as bad as Nani for the Munichs. Fulham got 3 points. Again.

Overall, that was possibly the worse Premiership game. Ever. Truly bl00dy awful. Mid table Div ONE standard. Ponderous. No first touch. No vision. No movement. .

Marek for Harps. Little for Doyle. Convey for Hunt. Bryn for Ingi, please.

The worst premiership game ever??!! What are you talking about!!

That was one of the most entertaining 0-0's I have ever seen. Both teams were fully committed and both sets of fans made decent noise. Yes, there was not much pure quality (apart from Little's move near the end), but to be honest there was not many moments of pure quality in the Chelsea v Man U game either.

Yorkshire Royal I suppose I should post this here:

Ref had a shocker and appeared to book Shorey for doing the pff training ground throw into the back of your own player and then cross in routine that Utd have been known to do. Quite why the ref thought that was a foul and why it deserved a booking is a mystery. Very confused, but it was a long way away so maybe I missed something.

I was completely dumbfounded by this as well. I think the foul may have been given for it being a foul throw by Shorey, which means he got booked for a foul throw!!

Alternatively, the ref obviously thought that a team like Reading shouldn't be allowed to do something creative.

It sums up a season of useless, incompetent referees.

I don't think the game was as bad as some have said, it wasn't high-quality but I found it absorbing, a neutral probably would've been bored. It was obvious after about 2 minutes that Bikey was the right choice in midfield, in the first half he really did look like a 20 year old playing in an under-16s game. Had he played there all season then I think we'd have a few more points. Unfortunately for Harper this made his crap performance look even worse - he made a couple of important runs tracking Wigan attackers but apart from that contributed, as far too often, nothing. Marek and Bikey next week hopefully.

Defence looked solid, Hahnemann has improved so much from last season and Duberry is a solid and reliable centre-back. Rosenior was gash on the ball as usual but good defensively, if he improves his passing then he can be a really good player. Lita worked very hard and given a full week of training him and Kitson might be able to re-form a partnership for the last two games.

The wings offered nothing, Doyle and Hunt worked hard but there was no quality and the final ball was rubbish too often. Little may not be fully fit but he should be given at least a half next week.

As usual some results were good, others less so but most importantly, somehow, everything is up to us. If we get 4 points it makes it unlikely for us to be relegated, 6 points and it's impossible, anything less and I'd expect to get relegated. I expect we'll be bombarded with Evening Post campaigns and song suggestions  before the Spurs game but I'm sure no-one needs reminding how important these two games are and how loud and positive support can make a difference, however small.
