Go with your team other than Hunt. He really is out of sorts. I'd play Convey ahead of him. This would mean playing our two first choice wingers from the Championship team together for the first time in well over a year

What's the point in these threads?
Do we all pick a team and Coppell picks the best line up?

If so that might explain our perilous position in the league you silly bastards.

Whats the point of anything? Twenty two men running round a field chasing an inflated pigskin. Sounds like a great idea

It'll be unchanged, with the possibility that Coppell noticed that Hunt was the worst player on the pitch yesterday and picks Convey instead.

Not likely though.

I now have an image of Steve Coppell, Nicky Hammond and John Madejski all huddled round a computer reading Hobnob, notebooks in hand.

We must start with our best attacking team on the pitch to try and get an early foothold in th egame.

When Little has come on it's seemed like it's been hard to get him the ball. We have to start maximising our strengths.

Hahnemann
Rosenior, Cisse, Ivar, Shorey
Little, Bikey, Marek, Convey
Lita, Kitson

Fed, Harper, Hunt, Doyle, Doobs.

Harper is mega fit and scores the odd late goal, useful agaisnt tired legs or to shore things up by replacing Marek who is nowhere near as athletic.
Hunt is quick and terrier like, could cause problems against tired legs who are sed to playing the less aggresive Convey. Maybe offers more defensively to shore things up.
Doyle is more likely to offer a goal from the bench than running around aimlessly and being ineffective throughout the goal. Tired legs may just give him the half yard he has been lacking.

Cisse over Doobs because for some reason I see Spurs as less of an arial threat and Cisse may be the better option, but I'd be as happy to see Doobs.

Why don't we rest half the team again, like at Arsenal?

I still disagree it was resting.

I think Coppell chose the team that he thought had the best chance of frustrating them and getting something. And it was working until Sonko got hopelessly lost in the middle.

Was worried before Wigan game that we would be looking at this game and potentially being relegated... at Home.

Thankfully it is going down to last two games, so i see no other option but at the very least a point.

We will see...

Having read a few threads, there seems to be an unusual consensus about the line-up, with

USA
Rosenior Doobs Ivar Shorey
Little Bikey marek Convey
Lita Kits

being by far the most popular choice. It would be an inexperienced gambler who'd bet against Harper and Doyle being in the team, however.

Perhaps Coppell should, almost all of his team selection policies this season have been flawed so evidently he's not capable of selecting the team by himself.

I think you're right, and they took the team of Kevin Doyle's way to seriously hence him being almost unable to be dropped.

This is why we shouldn't get involved!

Idiot! Doyle's best suited to playing right wing in a 4-5-1 formation. Get it right.

Not that Rosenior has been shit or anything, I just feel we need the presence of our captain on the pitch for such an important game.
