Half Horse This was a travesty!

How on earth did Marcus not win?

There are too many idiots who support this club..................

Agree, only an idiot would think Sidwell is an average player who wouldn't be missed at all.

Sidwell was average (at best) last season and you won't find one Chelsea fan who thinks he's anything but poor.

On the other hand, as we look forward to a return to the Championship, a far superior looking combo of Bikey and Marek will probably never see the light of day unless Coppell decides to call it a day.................... hate to say it, but I'm starting to wonder if that might be the best thing all around.

No, which makes me think it was Stephen's traveller friends that got the votes in.

Sunderland are apparently back in for him in the summer. Hopefully £3 - 4 mill if we go down and £5 mill or so if we stay up. That would be more of a killing than selling Hughes for 500k.

No - I would of voted for him had I felt that everyone at the club deserved anything other than derision!

Villa want to sign him apparently. Fee of around £5million mark

I voted for Marcus and it should have been him. Hunt and Harper were quality first half of season but Marcus has been consistently good all season.

I don't think Hunt is that bad a choice. I would rank them:
Marcus
Harper
Hunt

Weighing the contributions over the entire season. The team as a whole has been wildly inconsistent. Marcus has been as steady as they come. Harper's contributions fly under the radar at times. And Hunt, does the dirty work like drawing fouls to set up free kicks that a team like ours needs to create scoring chances. Even during the awful April stretch (where I think Hunt was playing with an injury) he continued to draw those fouls. Marek's strike at Liverpool? Setup by Hunt getting fouled. Bikey's header vs. Brum? Setup by a foul on Stephen Hunt.

So don't be too harsh on our pikey.

I'd rate them as

Hahnemann
Harper
Hunt & Kitson & Bikey

doesn't mean Hahnemann wasn't far and away the outstanding option.

Just because the second half of the season is fresher in the memory, doesn't mean it should rule the roost. Hahnemann was terrible in the first half of the season and the whole board was calling for his head. Contrary, Hunt was brilliant first half of the season....

It shouldn't surprise me though, during this time Coppell has gone from being a great manager to a bad one, Eriksson has gone from being a bad manager to a good manager, Allardyce has gone from potential england manager to bad manager, and Boris Johnson has gone from weird, controversial buffoon to mayor of London.

I do think a memory and a bit of objectiveness would be nice sometimes.
