nivek elyod It was fun while it lasted. Now we have to watch all our players leave in the summer.

not sure where you think they are going?

Some of them will leave.
Hunt ---> Sunderland?
Doyle as well if Keane feels like an Irish party?

Shorey, Lita, Little, Fae, Hunt, Doyle, Convey.

I'm devastated. Especially after such a great performance when we score 4 goals away once again. oxf*rd Fulham. Well done lads, you couldn't have put in any more effort than you did today. Still horrible to think we're in a league below Stoke

Spaced Invader Hey - at least we'll be able to listen to the games online next season

Don't bank on it! Times are hard for money buckets - he'll probably try to raise some more by bumping up the price that BBCRB have to pay for the rights to cover games!

Our best result of the season (in terms of final result - and away!) and it's so sour. Still, I agree there are some things about the fizzy pop league which will be sweeter!

i have watched the rerun of the popmey game twice now and still they don't score a late equaliser, i guess its time to accept we are down

from the verge of europe to back to the championship in one season

this was the one moment in the clubs history where we had the chance to really lift off and the mangement/owner failed us after doing so well to get us there

i am sad

"could have been a contender" and all that

now its back to the dirt and grime again

Me too!! What I said all week came to pass. When I saw the Pompey side I knew we were down as it was too strong believe it or not!! At least 7 of those players are going to be playing in the FA cup Final & as such they were never going to bust a gut to win. The best thing 'Arry could of done for us is play a bunch of unknowns desperate to prove themselves.

Cuts through the usual drivel with an incisive, perceptive post. I'd replace 'the one moment' with 'the best moment so far' - at the end of the 04/05 season a few people thought that with several up and coming clubs, new stadia, increased gap between Premiership and Division One, etc. etc., Reading's best chance had gone. Who knows what will happen?

You said you'd do it so do it. Or are you one of those people who makes empty comments online?

At least I have now watched Reading in all 4 divisions. I sincerely hope that we will be back, but let's not kid ourselves that it will be easy. Far too many clubs have been dumped down a level, thinking that they start next season as Champions elect.

So, did Kitson score the goal that relegated us?

If we'd stayed at 1-0 then perhaps Fulham wouldn't have pulled their finger out and pushed for a winner at Pompey!

That wasn't 100% serious Gordon!

But it did seem that Fulham noticably upped their game once we'd got the better of Derby because they knew a draw wasn't enough for them.

Potentially the worst thing we did was score the second goal too early as it meant Fulham had to go for the win. If we'd have sealed our win with just a few minutes remaining then Fulham may have been more content with 0-0 for longer in their game and so have forced their goal.
