brendywendy there is no embarrassment in being relegated, the only teams to take the piss would have all spent the majority of the last three years not winning the championship, not finishing 8th in the prem, or being in the prem at all.
who cares what they say?!well have finished higher than everyone in the division with us

the embarisment is i couldn't spell embarrassment

Bolton were a so called yoyo team for a few years, I suppose West Brom are also, I'd take that!

Becoming a yo yo team would be just fine. After all, for clubs such as Reading (include in the same bracket West Brom, Birmingham etc.) our season is all about promotion or relegation. For those that "belong" in the premier league (the big four, Everton, Spurs, Villa) relegation is almost unheard of, so for them a season is measured on trophies won. For us, trophies don't come into it, so the thrills come from promotion pushes and relegation battles. It would be nice to think that the club will grow stronger from here, but there are many bigger clubs who cannot sustain themselves in the top flight. For next season, it would be amazing to be in with a shout of bouncing straight back up, but a good season would be to consolidate (and not drop like a stone).
