rhroyal I've mainly been following since the turn of the Millennium and don't remember the Mass Sarr era. For me the worst was Bas Savage. I couldn't run, he was clumsy and got in the way and everything was poor. Worst of all at 6' 4" he could never win a header.

The dutch defender that burns bought.....el kromjeer or something......by some margin

Would you of expected Barry Hunter to kick the ball along the ground instead of launching it 200ft in to the air like he did with every other clearance?

LOL at anyone who blames Rougier not Hunter for that goal. The Rouge was integral to the way out 01-02 promotion team played.

Stuart Gray was pretty awful for us, and Martin Keown depressed me more than anybody other signing, but the worst player I have ever seen is James McIntyre. He described himself as, 'not one of those strikers who scores goals', he made Darren Caskey look like a poor passer, and he didn't break sweat in the Walsall game.

I've not seen a player show less technical ability and football awareness than Jimmy Kebe. He can't even claim to have physical attributes to compensate.

Considering he was signed to play in the richest and so called best league in the world I don't think I've seen a worse player for Reading in 25 years of supporting the club.

Matt Robinson did very well for us when he was brought into a struggling side slipping towards League Two.

Tony Rougier is the most skilful rubbish player in the history of the game. If he could have performed at his best for 45 minutes a game instead of 5, he would have been a Premier League player.

Was Jimmy Crawford our non-entity of a midfielder? I think I remember a goal against Bristol City, in the same match Levein got sent off for trying to kill a Reading fan.

Just remembered Les Ferdinand. Ok he had one or two good moments and will remain a legend in english football, but the amount of sitters and open goals he missed for us was astounding! In half a season as well!

Ah yes, the now legendary late season acquisition of two legends of the game, Ferdinand and Keown, who did precisely f*ck all for Reading.
