Fulham. No doubts at all. Only one team seemed to want to win, had a plan to win, was going to win. That day my RTGs turned brown. My mates were still saying "You don't deserve to go down" or "there are three worse teams than you". I now knew otherwise, and that was the saddest thing. We weren't good enough. We didn't merit Premiership status.

Gutted then, and writing it now brings all the feelings back. Why was this thread started? Why am I posting? We need to move on!

Fezza Also Man City away - last minute!!!

Strangely there are two Man City last minute aways which qualify! Which one - Stephen Ireland scoring last minute against us up there or Diomansy Kamara scoring for Fulham to win for them up there?! (Don't forget at one stage during that game when they were 0-2 down & Brum were winning, Fool'em were actually relegated at that point!)

When we sent Leroy out on loan, confirmed that the problems at the club were more than just on the pitch

......dropping my pie after one mouthful and then some great hulk of a man stepping on it thus preventing me doing the playground tactic of "blowing" all the germs off it and eating it!

Now THAT was worse than relegation!

Just when I think we've got the definitive worst moment covered, up comes someone else with another and I can't decide which one is worst.

I'll agree with half-time at home to Spurs.

The realisation that in the last of what were very many chances to "step up to the plate" and get ourselves out of the mess we were in, the team had completely and utterly failed to do so, and the first half had been like a training match in the sun for Spurs.

Team announcement before far too many games.... "no.11 - John Oster".

Thaumagurist* Losing at home to Fulham. It was a pathetic display.
Agreed, home advantage and a team we really had to beat to ensure we finished above them and out of relegation.... after that relegation seemed more likely than not.

My worst moment was standing in a pie that this idiot took one bite of and then dropped right in front of me...

Anyone who mentions that last minute Man City goal against us should be forced to watch their first goal and realise how bad our defending was and how avoidable that goal was.

Any from Tugay's goal at Blackburn, Gunnarsson giving the ball away for the 38344647th time at Fratton Park for them to break and score, every time John Oster lost the ball, every time Stephen Hunt went over to take a corner, every time Coppell made a substitution, both Fulham games, both Bolton games, getting shat on by a poor Newcastle side at St James', Hunt missing sitters against Blackburn at home and every time an opposition midfielder decided to run at us.
