Bearing in mind the scenes at Pride Park after the game, the cultured observations from the Home Park Yokel elsewhere on this forum and the comments taken from the Blades site (together with our record against them in the last TEN games - won 8, drawn 2), it has to be Derby, followed by Sheff Utd, then Plymouth - nine point start and off to a flyer.

Start with Ipswich, you may as well get the toughest ones out of the way first.

Welcome back ladies, did you have fun?

I'm surprised it took so long!

Don't forget Joe Royle's speech to your local press following our last meeting.

Who do you want first/last game of the season?

by madreadingfan » 07 Jun 2008 11:09

Just wondering who you would like...

I would want Barnsley Away first, haven't been to Oakwell yet and....
Last game of the season I would want Doncaster away because hopefully they might already be relegated and be playing for nothing.

Parky - snap! Said to my Argyle supporting mate a couple of weeks ago that I would settle for losing 2-1 at home to PAFC first game of the season...

I've heard they've got a Pleasure Bitch that's unrivalled in the UK.

At home, probably the easiest three points based on your away record

Still can't believe we're in the humdrum championship next year

Am away the first two weeks of August so an away game against a team played up by the press. A nice resounding victory and smiles on everyone's faces. Maybe QPR or Birmingham...

Brum away - get our toughest fixture out of the way early on. Based on recent form should nick a draw at least.
