Many thanks for the news on the rising stars. I am looking forward to educating the FGR supporters on the the Joys of the Royals.

As for the other strand. I have been a Reading Supporter for some time and remember the wearing of pants on Heads during the Tommy Burns Era. So I am aware of the pain that wearing the Hoops can bring but that is the point. It was so much sweeter being in the prem after that feeling. I truly believe that we have the best manager in this league and that if First teamers Leave he will bring in Quality to replace. I also believe that we have the best Goalkeeper in this league by a long way and with Marek in central Midfield will prove to be a star.

I am so convinced of this that I am going to put £20 for Reading to win the league and am also tempted to put some money on the not to get beat this year (A tall order I know but who knows)

By tha way I hope to see a good attendance for this one as FGR will be a test they also have a good manager in Jim Harvey.

FGR Royal they also have a good manager in Jim Harvey
Who is also a top bloke. I was chatting to him in a hotel reception while watching footie on TV back in 2006 when he had just taken over as Manager of FGR after the Morecombe shenanigans (allegedly).

Jim used to be at Arsenal with Brian McDermott and I suggested Jim got in touch for possible loan players or a pre-season friendly. Therefore tomorrow's fixture is entirely down to me 8)

I'll be sitting in the main stand, somewhere near the R of FGR.

Will you be wearing your hoops.

I belive that John Halls was on loan here for a short while. He is somewhat of a god in these parts.

John Halls was a top professional
Injured most of his time here and treated disgustly by the medical staff which pretty much ended his career with Reading before it even started
Only player to score against Liverpool twice
But like the way with Seol and Oster the fans destroyed him...

at least he didnt wear banana peels for boots and spoke on the telly every minute

Agreed wendy, what a load of old tosh.
A full-back who couldn't tackle,a wing-back with no pace-not really what we need or needed.
One of the less successful of Reading's signings.

I'm sure it's just me being thick but I really can't remember Halls scoring twice against Liverpool for us.
