It's the quality of the player that is the issue, not how much they cost. All our recent spending has shown that the more expensive players are quite often not as good as the cheaper ones.
We need a strong proven target man who can hold the ball up and can bring others into play, not some midget from the joke that is the SPL.

We do need another striker now. Never seen this guy play, but cant be to bad if he can notch up 17 goals in the SPL.

Yes he can, the SPL is about as good as League 1 at best if you take away Rangers and Celtic.

Here is a description of Hunt from a Dundee United supporter:
He's not that big but despite that is fantastic in the air and consistently wins headers against people much bigger than him. He's hardworking, decent with the ball at his feet but despite scoring quite a lot of goals last year I don't think he's a brilliant finisher.
