Nah better to go 4-4-2 pre season and take Forest by surprise, they have few forwards so 3 Cb's can mop up what they throw at us, leaving Rosenior and Hunt to push forward on the overlap, or as is likely to help cover the possible 5 in midfield that forest are likely to employ, but still leaving us two up front for breakaways.

This management stuff is easy, 2-0 for manager. 8)

Right, I've been reading up about 'Forest', and apparently they like to play in a 4-3-3 formation. I'm not sure how they'll play with 3 forwards out injured, but how do we play against a formation like that?

Whenever we played a team with 3 up front and the right sided player was quick, we got killed because of Shorey's lack of pace.

You are asking people on here what they would do???

Go outside and ask the first person you see the same question, you'll get more sense.

Wish I could, but I don't think any of them even know Reading have a football club. My next-door neighbours appear to support Chelsea, West Ham, Portsmouth and Man Utd.

I was saying that used to be a problem.
And it was also a bitter swipe at Nicholas.

I doubt it, but if I see any of them I'll ask, since not many here seem to have a clue.

Just been informed by a very reliable source that the uninjured Harper is not even in the squad for today's game.

if thats true then he is off
gutted to lose the eyebrowed one
but i thought we would do well to keep him,
and the recent silence over his move confused the hell out of me, it either meant it was over, or that it was imminent!

so thats a new LB and a new CM required an hour or so before the start of our season

thanks harps!

thats one less "the rock" fan in the team though

but then are you a trustworthy source skb?
im not sure!

Now is that because Karacan is going to partner Matejovsky? Is he off somewhere else, injured, or being saved for Tuesday's game?
