I think that's a bit harsh on Convey. At least he created some chances.

Yeah it is a bit. Harper was defo nowhere near MOM, neither was Convey though. I'll give Ian Royal Sonko though.

Well you're entitled to it. I happen to disagree, happily there is nothing humble about my opinion.

Harper was the only one who gave us even a semblance of bite in midfield and he played a couple of lovely balls. As I said, everything bar Kebe's spacker run 2nd half came down our left. there was a reason for that. Convey was doing allright.

IMO Kebe and Cisse were the ones who were cack in midfield.

are you serious?

The only players to come out of that disgraceful performance with any kind of credit were Sonko and Hunt, the rest were total and utter garbage.

Rosenior and kicking apart Hahnemann didn't do too much wrong, otherwise agreed tbh.

also amazed at how little said about Ingimarsson who along with getting bollocked by Matejovsky and arguing with Harper was absolutely USELESS today.

Thats because he spent most of the game trying to head the ball in the left back position for the hobbit.

No he just got beat time and time again in the air, rinsed for pace on numerous occasions and ended up lumping it anywhere. All started in typical comical style when SOnko almost cleaned him up allowing them to score. We here what gr8 m8s they are and how long they've played in the same team together, yet the lack of communication was just schoolboy esque. Summed up in the end by the back 5 + Harper and Matejovsky arguing with each other.

Convey played well throughout , Kebe in first half then disappeared after half time . Harper screamed at everyone even asking us to sing more yet he was very poor all day ( Come on Boro giz some dosh for him ) then spend it on a huge centre forward coz well need one if the centre halfs are all like Forests was today. We wont win nowt in the air.Plus a new lb and we should be ok....I hope.
Lets see some young uns on Tues night at Dag & Red see how they do.

Ian Royal Between Sonko, Harper and Convey for me.

Sonko was the most obvious though so he gets it IMO. Welcome back, although he'd have given at least 1 penalty away if that was in the prem.

and you are a cock as well if you have Harper as MOM, or bloody blind

Wasn't sure about Sonko after his comments last season but he was our most committed player, threw himself into tackles and headers and saved at least 2 probable goals. Thought it was poor refereeing/sportsmanship to play on when he took a ball in the face and went down, could've been serious.

That performance seems to suggest he'll be OK in this league (despite his horror shows last season), so Sonko today for me. There weren't exactly many candidates! Hunt tried hard out of position, Hahnemann had nothing to do, defence was wildly erratic but wholehearted and somehow kept a clean sheet. Midfield was shit. Forwards were helpless. Maybe because there was no midfield, like there wasn't for the last half of last season?

I thought back four defend well, although Ivar & Sonks looked a bit shakey early on. We didn't look like letting one in today. Sonks gets my vote. we really need a left back though, as Hunt's workrate is missed in midfield.

Rosenior and Convey played well.

Harper was a lost schoolboy especially in the first half.

To be fair the MOM should go to Jimmy Kebe, hes a joy to watch.. :?

everyone is entitled to their opinion of course, but anyone who thinks Convey played well today really needs some kind of brain scan, in the wise words of Del Boy he was about as useful as a pair of sunglasses on a man with one ear.

As I rememer it (from watching on the telly) I thought Convey did well getting the ball, taking it up the field and his passing/crossing wasn't too bad, but his final touch let him down when going for a goal.

Yes by all means he wasnt amazing but compared to other players he put in a decent shift on the left. I am sure he would be getting more ratings had we scored through doyle and him claiming the assist.

Convey didnt put 1 single cross in today, anything that came from the left came from Hunt. As for shooting, his best effort was the shot in the 94th minute, which was about 10 yards over the bar.

The only cross Convey put in was a free kick from the right.
