Geekins Convey set up Sonk's goal on Saturday and Harps and Hunts corner were rubbish on Sat. I know Hunt set up Sonko both times the week before but he needs to be more consistant with his crossing. Convey has a good left foot on him that would be good for freekicks.

We don't just want a player in our team who is good for free kicks!

strap Aren't you forgetting something? Armstrong will have to do the things the Reading way. So clearly he needs to spend 6 months in the reserves, getting up to speed with English football, and generally learning how things are done here.

Then he'll be given a couple of sub outings, and then will fade into obscurity, a la Fae, Halford and to a lesser extent Cisse and Bikey, before finally being loaned out to Charlton and then sold. THAT's the Reading way!!

Of course, he MAY just worm his way into Sir Steve's favourites cliche, a la Kebe, Doyle, Harper and Hahnemann, and once picked for the 1st XI will NEVER get dropped again, ignoring form, fitness etc.

Cynical?? ME?!??!

You're really starting to worry me.

This football supporting lark is supposed to be fun. Lighten up my man.

I feel for the bloke though due his injuries. But we need a regular and that is definitely Hunty.

You forget the most important thing he needs to learn. As a Reading full back he will have to skillfully learn the art of lumping the ball down the park straight over Doyle's (or Lita's) head & onto the waiting bonce of the opposing centre half. No mean achievement that & one that I suspect may take him a while to learn. Don't expect him to go straight in the team.

Of the two Hunt....but I dont see why we keep on having to play two central midfielders and two wide men in a 4-4-2 formation. Away from home our midfield four just dont seem good enough in the fairly basic task(for a footballer) called tackling. Until they can tackle and heaven help actually win the ball we will struggle to pick up points on the road.

Well thinking outside the box. How about Kebe for LM and when Murty is back Rosenior for RM?
