MURTY BACK IN THE TEAM?

by REALROYAL » 02 Sep 2008 19:23

Murty is a RFC legend, we all know that but has he had his day? should he walk back into the first 11 over Rosenior?

For me its a No, Rosenior & Kebe is working well and for the first time in a long time we have some pace down the right? I save leave it as it is.....

Nobody deserves their place back in the team through status or reputation. He will have to wait for Rosenior to drop his performances like everybody else.

Before the last match, people were calling for LR's head asap.

Murty is a leader and deserves a place in the team, because he gives the rest of the defence guidance.

I think Rosenior has been one of our best players this season.. I dont see how Murty will take that RB spot from him?

Rosenoir deserves his place as he gives us more pace than Murty, more strength and most of the time determination. Not taking the determination from Murts but i feel Rosenoir has a hunger to succeed and to do well for us.
Rosenoir to keep his place :)

I was thinking Murty would be back in the starting 11 for sure. But with Sonks gone & AP's play on Saturday; not so sure. I Don't like a player losing a spot to injury but I think the back four are playing well. They look good in defense and solid pushing forward. I like what Rosenoir can do on the ball; don't think he goes down.

I think AP will get the boot & Murty will be back. He has a lot of history plus he is the captain.

I am a big fan of LR I believe he has potential to be our future captain .. I'm also a big fan of Murty I believe he is the heart beat of the club. Looking at LR againest Plymouth and Palace he will keep his place .. Looking at him at Charlton Murty would have been selected ,,
LR gives us flair and youth .. Murty gives us ( or maybe gave us ) consistancy.

Murts will come back onto the bench in place of Kelly who may possibly be a candidate for a loan to give him the same experience as Pearce, Henry and Karacan. This to me would be a logical step.

You don't change a winning team, Murty is just coming back from injury, he'll have to bide his time and wait like everyone else does.
