I'm (relatively) happy to be relegated, as long as it's from the Premier League.

If we were relegated back down to the lower divisions it would be really hard to take. Gates would plummet, our best players would leave etc as the downward cycle continues. Just look at Oxford Utd.
Being in the Championship is fine though. When we rarely reached this level in the past it was all about survival (2005/06, 2004/05,2003/04 1994/95 excluded)and Reading were deemed to be a much smaller club than other teams in the division. Not anymore. We have caught up and rather than looking down we are not expecting a lot more these days.
