Royal With Cheese
Forever Reading Look like Hunt and Doyle will be off in the Jan window then. Any prem teams would snap him all they need to do is bid £5M to activate his release clause

Correct me if I'm wrong. That trigger merely allows Hunt to talk to any team meeting that valuation. It doesn't necessarily mean we have to accept it?

Its a release clause which means it will release him fron his contract if the figure is met. Otherwise they would have it in his contract.

Archie's penalty Wolves Reading takes on extra meaning now. We need to reduce the gap they have over us.

This is right.

I may yet go.

Indeed it is tempting. Could well be a hammering for us though.

That's why football's addictive.

Looking at our games so far, I think its the first promotion rival we'll play - Charlton in 9th being the highest placed team we've played so far in the league this season.

(Forest - 23rd, Plymouth - 18th, Charlton - 9th, Palace - 21st, Ipswich - 16th, Wednesday - 14th, Watford - 17th and Swansea 12th)

I just think he's the type of player that makes a good team play well but when your back is against the wall, he can struggle, or at least appear to struggle.

(Amusingly/ironically, I made a similar comment about Carrick when he was in the Championship with West Ham.)
