Gem Karacan sounds like Muffin man.....

The Muffin man

First Verse:
Oh, do you know the muffin man,
The muffin man, the muffin man,
Oh, do you know the muffin man,
That lives on Drury Lane?

Second Verse:
Oh, yes, I know the muffin man,
The muffin man, the muffin man,
Oh, yes, I know the muffin man,
That lives on Drury Lane.

Gem Karacan

First Verse:
Oh, do you know Gem Karacan,
Gem Karacan, Gem Karacan,
Oh, do you know Gem Karacan,
who lives on Drury Lane?

Second Verse:
Oh, yes, I know Gem Karacan,
Gem Karacan, Gem Karacan,
Oh, yes, I know Gem Karacan,
who lives on Drury Lane.

Except I don't think he lives on Drury Lane so that bit might need tweaking.

Very good! I personally think we should have the old Nigel Jemson chant at Forset.....it's easy....

"Jemmo, Jemmo, Jemmo....."

I'm not taking credit for this. It's the two lads at the back of Y25 who were trying to get it going.

To the tune of "A Million Ways"

Oh such grace, oh such beauty
So precious, delicious
so skillfull and vicious
Oh Kebe, You've a million ways to look cool.
You've a million ways to look cool
One zero zero zero zero zero zero cool.

middle needs a lot of work. As a minimum.

Ian Royal middle needs a lot of work. As a minimum.

the start and end don't stand out as finished articles either

as these threads tend to fail because either people kick a random song and seem surprised that people don't share their enthusiasm for learning all the words, or they pick a decent tune but but pretty ropey words to it, maybe it'd better to just pick tunes that could be used, and unless particularly inspired, leave the words to others.

Hmm, having said that, I suppose I ought to offer something to be shot down. OK, this is showing my age, but what about cool for cats by squeeze? Maybe not. It'd need too many words.

just thought i'd make my annual shit contribution to a song thread.

surely someone else must at least like the line:

Oo Kebe, You've a million ways to look cool.

Its simple
Has an action
Its simple
Its also possibly original (although I expect there's some obscure United song using the tune ... )

:P
