Heard about Darisuz's arrest on another site. He was my first ever footballing idol

Anyhow, thinking pratically (i.e. as young as possible as well as decent at some point):

Shaka

Makin
Sonko
Adie
Kerr

Gilkes
Sidwell
Newman
Caskey (have to fit him in somewhere)

Quinn
Cureton

Subs: Ashdown, Hetzke, Gooding, Fozzy, Senior

Geniunely don't care who gets this spot

Richardson
Hicks
Spoilt for choice... Curle
Shorey

Little
Sanchez
Parky
Taylor

Kitson
Archie

Subs: Young, Wood, Webb, Meaker (comedy value), Morely

If they were alive, Death, Friday and Best would have to get places.

Young and Ashdown are there to make up numbers. Suppose Stack could fill in for Young.

Can't believe it took so long for Wdowczyk to get a mention. The best footballing centre half to ever pull on the hoops.

Has Steve Francis really not got a mention either, or Gary Westwood?

readingbedding At the end of the season?

Last time when we were promoted, I wasn't too pleased with the fayre on offer.

Keown

Goater

Only reason I didn't mention Ferdinand is he was actually reminiscent of a footballer.

Considered him. Too many strikers though.

You can almost create 2 sides from this seasons squad and the last championship winning side..... So why not do that? (unlikely to happen... but a great idea for Murty's testimonial!)

06/07 team

Hahnemann
Murty, Sonko, Ingimarsson, Shorey
Little, Sidwell, Harper, Convey
Kitson, Lita

08/08 team
Federici
Rosenior, Pearce, Bikey, Armstrong
Kebe, Karacan, Matejovski Hunt
Hunt Doyle

Plus subs

Better idea.

Hammond in one goal, subbed for Bibbo at half time.

SSC on the bench to play the last 5.

Wally alongside Hicks at some point- or both and Sonko! Now that's what centre backs should be like!

Dillon in midfield.*

Madejski and Kingsley up front with Ron Grant supporting them.

The PA guy at left back.

Golden gamble sellers on the wings.

Plus Mega Store staff, Millenium Madejski staff, food sellers, programme sellers, groundsmen, stewards, car park staff, etc.

* Everything after this asterix is a joke

Jackson Corner Trever Senior, Kevin Bremner, Shaka, Richie Bowman, Martin Hicks, Gilkes, Parky, Mark White, Stuart Beaven, Trevor Morley, Mick Gooding, Ady Williams, Dylan Kerr, Sanchez, Webby, Steve Wood, Steve Richardson, Steve Hetzke, Kieth Curle, Jimmy Quinn, Stuart Lovell and Scott Taylor everyone an EP legend

Seems like a good list to me. Shame we cant add Steve D'eath and Robin Friday to the list as they would have been right up there as legends.
Good to see you include Steve Richardson. He was a gutsy little player.

That's only 15. We need 22 for a proper match.

Royal Lady I'm saying nothing. Except his knees are fcked.

I was going to say, he looked less than mobile at the last legends match. Sad to see it in such a great player for us.

Kevin Bremner on the other hand was still running around like a mad bastard.

John Mackie anyone? Ok legend is stretching it a bit but I still reckon you'll never beat him.

I was in love with Jerry Williams from 1981 to about 1985. He's old and fat now though. He'll ALWAYS be a legend for his skinning of Kenny Sansom. 8)
